Encomium Research is a veteran owned small business established in 2003 with offices in Orlando, Florida. Encomium Research provides support to the Department of Defense in the areas of Distributed Learning and Studies and Analysis. Their employees possess graduate degrees as well as the leadership expertise that comes with 20 plus year careers as officers in the United States Marine Corps (USMC).  
Encomium Research supported the Joint Simulation System (JSIMS) in a wide variety of topics providing both Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and modeling assistance in the areas of joint tactical operations, weapon system performance, detections, communications, decision making, test and evaluation, user interfaces, and system verification and validation. Encomium Research provided the USMC's Combined Arms Command and Control Training Upgrade System (CACCTUS) with detailed support to include specific event sequence diagrams to represent Marine behaviors within One Semi-Automated Force (OneSAF). Encomium Research also supports the USMC's Range Modernization and Transformation (RM/T) efforts to coordinate live-virtual-constructive (LVC) training opportunities with existing live combined arms exercises (CAX) to include designing the combined arms planning tool. We also develop for the USMC's Operational Test and Evaluation Activity (MCOTEA) the Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) for the Force-on-Force Real Time Casualty Assessment (FOFRTCA) comparison between the USMC's Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV) and the current Assault Amphibian Vehicles (AAVs).
