Services: The Command and Intelligence Systems Division (Code D42) within the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SPAWARSYSCEN, San Diego) provides systems engineering, development, integration, test, and life-cycle support for a wide range of Navy, Joint, and National Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Intelligence (C⁴I) systems. These systems serve to consolidate Command, Control, and Intelligence functions along with cryptologic, navigation, environmental, and logistic capabilities to provide an integrated C⁴I capability to the warfighter.

Specific efforts include systems integration engineering to technically plan for, implement, and gain acceptance of C⁴I components integrated into Navy, Joint, and National C⁴I systems. The work requirements include product analyses/evaluations, integration designs, product validation/verification analyses, integration, test and evaluation plans, integrated products, site installation plans, site configuration management, integration/ installation of C⁴I components at operational sites, and initial user training. Products developed under this contract support the development, upgrade, replacement or maintenance of C⁴I systems ashore and afloat. Specific capabilities include:
